Matthew W. Roy, M.S.Ed. - Owner/Operator
Mr. Roy holds a master's degree in Counseling Psychology. He has 20 years of clinical mental health counseling and forensic assessment evaluations experience. As a Certified Clinical Forensic Counselor, he designed, developed, and implemented
specialized sexual offender risk assessment and treatment programs for adults and juveniles. He has provided these specialized sexual offender risk assessment and treatment services to community based; residential; and incarcerated offenders. Mr. Roy has completed specialized training and is experienced with the interpretation of the Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest; Psychopathy Checklist; Stable/Acute - 2007 Assessments; and, the Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment. In 2014, Mr. Roy graduated from the American International Institute of Polygraph, an American Polygraph Association accredited school, as a Polygraph Examiner; has received advanced training and certification in Post-Conviction Sexual Offender Testing; and is a licensed polygraph Examiner in Maine. He has professional memberships with the Maine and American Polygraph Associations. He is a clinical member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers and is an approved instructor for the American Polygraph Association.
